Day 10

It's Saturday today. I was determined to get over what happened yesterday and have a good time.

We had Harry and Mark over for lunch today. Harry is a flight steward working with, get this, Royal Brunei Airlines. Mark's his boyfrined and works in a casino downtown. They are both really nice people. I also made plans to meet with Harry when I come to Brunei this Friday. We had steamboat for lunch and it was really nice. We made plans to go out for drinks in the evening at the Columbian.

James didn't call me today.

Ross and I set off at 10 and met Harry & Mark and their friends at the Columbian. AFter that we went to the Shift, a popular gay club. I got pretty pissed and started being friendly to a lot of strangers. For egample, there Barbara, a bouncer at the Columbian. And Gary, an Indian gay whom I chatted to in the SHift. There are other people and fortunatly I forgot all of them. The last thing I remembered was Mark being called on stage by some drag queens.

Day 11

I woke up feeling delicate and sore all over. (Ross told me I fell - I got a matching bruise on my left kneww to match the one on my right knee i got from last month.) I went to the toilet and had a real shock coz I had swollen eyes - from crying.) As soon as I came out, James called. Told me he was downstairs and I should let him up.

HE told me he was worried and wanted to see me.I'm not getting into this.

Had lunch with G and Ross at the Woolpack. Then off to Chinatown again. THis time bought a whole lot of things. I'm gonna warn anyone who expects any gifts or souveniers from me - DON'T.

Came back for a now daily traditional nap. Then off to meet Yumi, Harry and Mark for Karaoke in town. I know, I know. But they do have a lot more better songs than in SIngapore. They even have Peter Pan and Siti Nurhaliza and other malay singers, not that I would care. Heh. Had a real good time. Said our goodbyes and G, Ross and I went to the cinema to catch Big Momma's House 2.

All in all, it was a good day. I'm starting to miss home a lot though.
